WON'T BE AROUND (3 min)
Written, Directed and Produced by TERRY BLADE
Written and Produced by BOBBY COLE
Produced by COTTON BROTHERS STUDIO
Produced by LARRY ROBERTSON
"Won't Be Around" is a song written and performed by singer-songwriter Terry Blade. At its core, the song is about
meaning the words we say, and acting on the words we've used. It is not enough to just tell someone we won't be around for
them if they treat us poorly. We have to be completely and totally absent. This project is the official music video for the
song. Stylistically, the song and video draw from the rural and early American roots music of the first half of the 20th century--the
lifeblood of America's musical and cultural heritage.

Filmed under almost impossible conditions on Lake Michigan: temperature below freezing, winds >50 kts using a Canon DSLR
with an unstabilized 400 mm lens. To accomplish this I placed the tripod and camera within an inch of the wall of a concrete
building and found the optimum spot for viewing without any wind shake!
Filmed at 120 fps but rendered to 30 fps to better appreciate the sheer power of the waves.

MANIMAL REDUX (4 min)
Directed by JERALD IRWIN MORSE
This film is my poetic interpretation of the punk song "Manimal" originally performed by The Germs in Los Angeles
1979. In my music video I've tried to represent slices of cultural alienation ingested by the songwriter/singer Darby Crash,
pushing him to commit suicide, at the age of 22, two years after he first performed the song. I have a custom sync license
to use the lyrics from the publisher.
